Kentucky Results
June 7 Buckhorn Lake
Another tough out in southeastern Kentucky. As with the rest of the musky fishing waters, Buckhorn was about 3 weeks behind normal conditions. The muskies had not moved into wood cover as they normally would and no legal fish were caught. This was the third year with no legal fish registered on Buckhorn.....with the 40" size limit in effect this is always a tough tournament.

NOTE: new rules in effect this year state that there will be A FULL 10 TEAM FIELD for the championship. That means that if only 7 teams, for example, qualify by catching at least one legal fish, then we would have to take all the teams tied for 8th place to fill the field. If there are six teams tied for 8th, then the championship would include the first 7 teams PLUS the 6 teams tied for 8th.......a total of 13 teams would fish in the championship.
With so many points available for attendance of meetings and fishing events it is possible or even likely that there will be some teams in the championship that fished all 4 events and attended all meetings. WE WILL HAVE AT LEAST 10 TEAMS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT.
*the initial dates set for the championship conflicted with the majority of the angler's schedules due to several events over which we have no control. It was in the best interest of all involved to change the dates for the event to the prior weekend, Oct. 30-Nov. 1. Please understand and we apologize for any inconveniences or problems this may have caused. gs
